About Us.
The NAACP Evansville Branch 3048-B, is a dedicated force for justice, equality, and community empowerment in Southern Indiana. As part of the nation’s oldest and largest civil rights organization, we work tirelessly to eliminate racial discrimination and advocate for political, educational, economic, and social equality. Rooted in the legacy of the national movement, our local chapter uplifts the voices of those often unheard and brings people together to create real, lasting change. From youth development and health advocacy to civic engagement and economic empowerment, we are committed to building a future where every individual is valued and protected.

Mission.
Our mission is to achieve equity, political rights, and social inclusion by advancing policies and practices that expand human and civil rights, eliminate discrimination, and accelerate the well-being, education, and economic security of Black people and all persons of color.
Our Vision.
We envision an inclusive community rooted in liberation where all persons can exercise their civil and human rights without discrimination.
